This suppressor is often advertised as a 9mm suppressor however the way it ships from the manufacturer is only with a 1/2x28 direct thread mount, which cannot be used on most 9mm pistols. For that reason, we offer it as a kit with the appropriate Booster and Piston for 9mm pistol use in the 9mm Suppressor category of our store. But this listing is in the 5.56x45 Suppressor category becasuse that is what you can use it with in the configuration it ships as.

Optional End Caps
The Dead Air Wolfman comes with a 9mm (.354in) end cap on it from the factory. If you are planning on shooting a smaller caliber round through it like 5.56, then swapping to the matching end cap for the desired caliber is the best way to get the maximum sound reduction possible from the suppressor for that caliber. This Dead Air Suppressor accepts 2 different end cap options in this caliber (sold separately). A plain end cap, and a flash hider endcap that reduces muzzle flash by 50-75%.
