The Gun
This recipe starts with a Beretta 1301 Mod 2 Tactical semi-auto shotgun. The 1301 Tactical can be ordered from Beretta with a Chisel folding stock, or if those are not available you can make your own by buying the shotgun and stock separately.
The Stock
If you are starting with a standard fixed stock Beretta 1301 Tactical and you want to convert it to the optic ready folding stock pistol grip from Chisel, you can do that by purchasing the item below.
The Optic
The Chisel optic ready pistol grip folding stock comes with an optic plate in RMR footprint. So it will work with a Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, SRO, RCR as well as the Holosun 507C, 507Comp, and 508T.
The Handguard
We set the front of the gun up with a Briley 3gun M-LOK aluminum hand guard in place of the factory polymer piece. We also use an Arisaka Finger Indexer below the hand guard, to make sure our hand goes in the same place every time we grab the gun. This ensures that our thumb is always in the right place to activate the switch for the light, which is composed of a Surefire switch on a Magpul M-LOK mount.
The Suppressor
To install a suppressor on a Beretta 1301 Tactical, you'll need a choke adapter that threads into the inside of the barrel on one end, and into the suppressor on the other end. For this build we went with the SilencerCo Salvo 12 suppressor and SilencerCo ECHO improved cylinder choke adapter. The Salvo 12 is modular and can be made shorter by removing sections.
