Build Recipe 27 - 2024 Staccato C Carry Defense

Staccato's new carry option for 2024, the 4 inch "C", with an enclosed Aimpoint ACRO red dot and the new Streamlight TLR-y HL-X 1000 lumen light.
This build recipe is for a daily carry gun that can perform in unexpected conditions.
The Gun
The 2024 Staccato C comes in a number of different configurations from Staccato. This one comes with the shorter (15rd) of the 2 grip options, making it easier to conceal without printing through your clothes. It also comes with a flat trigger, which has become the more popular option over the curved trigger. And this one has the DLC coated (black) barrel.
The Optic
For this build recipe we decided to go with a red dot optic that features an enclosed emitter because it is configured for daily carry use. Enclosed emitters are less susceptible to being obstructed by dirt, weather, or condensation, making them ideal for unexpected use in unpredictable conditions. A Dawson Precision optic plate is required to install this optic on a Staccato and the part numbers are listed below.
The Light
The HL-X is Streamlight's new compact 1000 lumen USB rechargeable weapon light. It is one of the best fitting lights for the 4" Staccato C and fits in TLR-7 format holsters.
